Dark circles and puffy eyes are tell tale signs of age, lack of sleep, and stress. Did you know that it may be due to environment and diet? When using an eye cream, remember that the area is sensitive and delicate. Be sure to work the cream in a circular motion from the outside corner, under the eye, and towards the center. Be conscious about using a light touch-applying with the ring or pinky finger. These two produce less pressure than the others.

  • Eye cream can be applied around the mouth. This does for the area, what it does for the eyes!
  • Try a chamomile tea cold compress. Steep chamomile tea bags, then emerge in an ice bath for 5 minutes. Place cool, wet cotton round over eyes followed by the tea bags. Relax for 10 minutes. The cool chamomile has soothing antioxidant properties wonderful for the eyes.
