The study showed that when females in their 40’s and 50’s wore the pink grapefruit/citrus perfume, younger men consistently mistook them for being six years younger than their actual age. Talk about virtual wrinkle reduction! The study featured other fragrances as well, but they had no effect on age perception.

The doctor who led the study (Dr Hirsch) has been studying the effects of fragrance on human behavior for over a quarter century and has since developed his own proprietary perfume based on - you guessed it - the same pink grapefruit blend used in his studies.

…so throw caution to the wind - toss those old spice and vanilla-based perfumes in the waste basket, go shopping for a fresh, citrus based fragrance, and enjoy your newfound 6-year age-drop.
